Un pilota d'auto, oltre
a lavorare come meccanico e stuntman cinematografico a Hollywood, arrotonda prestando servizio come autista per alcuni
rapinatori di banche. Il suo datore di lavoro, Shannon, è un meccanico che in passato ha avuto 

problemi
con la mafia italiana finendo gambizzato e che, proprio tramite l'aiuto di un altro boss, Bernie Rose, cerca di creare
una scuderia automobilistica per correre nella NASCAR, impiegando il protagonista come pilota.

Nel mentre il
pilota si trasferisce e conosce la propria vicina di casa, una giovane madre, Irene, il cui marito è in carcere, con
un figlio, Benicio. Avendo occasione di frequentarli si innamora della donna, pur non esplicitando i 

propri
sentimenti, e anche questa, pur essendo ancora affettivamente legata al marito, sembra essere attratta dal
pilota..........

Storyline

A mysterious man who has multiple jobs as a garage mechanic, a
Hollywood stuntman and a getaway driver seems to be trying to escape his shady past as he falls for his neighbor - whose
husband is in prison and who's looking after her 

child alone. Meanwhile, his garage mechanic boss is trying
to set up a race team using gangland money, which implicates our driver as he is to be used as the race team's main
driver. Our hero gets more than he bargained for when he meets 

the man who is married to the woman he loves.
